Chambers of Commerce
The chambers are where the serious business networking happens in Taiwan. Events, advocacy, job boards, industry committees — they're worth knowing even if you don't become a member.
American Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan (AmCham)
The largest and most established foreign chamber in Taiwan, founded in 1951. Publishes Taiwan Business TOPICS monthly, runs industry committees, and produces an influential annual White Paper on the Taiwan business environment. Has a job board, regular events, and strong government access. If you're American or working with American companies, this is your starting point.

The European equivalent of AmCham, representing European companies across all sectors. Particularly relevant if you're a European company or professional navigating Taiwan.

A note on this directory
This list is curated based on my experience and research, it's not exhaustive and it's not sponsored. No organisation has paid to be included here. If you're trying to figure out which of these is most relevant to your situation, that's exactly the conversation I have in consultations.
The Taiwan business ecosystem is large and occasionally opaque. The right introduction — to the right chamber, the right accelerator, the right legal firm — can save you months. If you want help navigating it, let's talk.
