Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. General
These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases made through Bubble Tea Island ("we", "our", or "us"). By purchasing any digital product or consulting service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time of purchase shall apply.
2. Products and Services
Bubble Tea Island offers digital products, including but not limited to eBooks, travel guides, downloadable resources, templates, and other digital content, as well as consulting services related to Taiwan travel, relocation, business, culture, and related topics.
All products are intended for personal use only unless otherwise specified.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on our website and are payable in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to modify prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been completed.
The customer is responsible for any taxes, duties, bank fees, currency conversion fees, or other charges imposed by their financial institution or local authorities.
4. Digital Product Delivery
Digital products are delivered electronically after successful payment. Access is generally provided immediately, although occasional technical delays may occur.
It is the customer's responsibility to provide a valid email address and ensure they can receive digital downloads.
5. Consulting Services
Consulting sessions are provided by appointment at a mutually agreed date and time.
Clients may request to reschedule a consultation with at least 24 hours' notice. Requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may be considered a missed appointment and may not be eligible for rescheduling.
While we strive to provide accurate, practical, and up-to-date advice, consulting services are provided on a best-effort basis and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, immigration, or other regulated professional advice.
6. No Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final.
Bubble Tea Island does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for digital products once a purchase has been completed and access has been granted.
Consulting services are also non-refundable once booked. If Bubble Tea Island is unable to provide the agreed consultation, the client may choose between rescheduling the appointment or receiving a full refund for the affected session.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
All content sold or provided by Bubble Tea Island, including digital downloads, text, graphics, designs, images, templates, and educational materials, remains the intellectual property of Bubble Tea Island unless otherwise stated.
Customers may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, share, modify, publish, upload, or commercially exploit any purchased material without prior written permission.
Unauthorized distribution of our digital products may result in legal action.
8. Limitation of Liability
Bubble Tea Island makes reasonable efforts to ensure that all information provided is accurate and current. However, we do not guarantee that all content is free from errors or remains applicable over time.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bubble Tea Island shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our products or services.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the relevant product or service.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that purchased products are suitable for their own needs and that they have the necessary software or equipment to access digital files.
Customers must not share download links or purchased files with third parties.
10. Force Majeure
Bubble Tea Island shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, technical failures, governmental actions, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be submitted to the competent courts of Belgium, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
